T-Shirt Cat Toy

Easy Diy T Shirt Cat Toy

Do you have some old t-shirts you don't wear anymore? Shirts with stains? Don't throw them away! Instead, up-cycle those old t-shirts into easy-to-make cat toys.

Muslin & Merlot blog came up with this easy toy that is sure to give cats hours of play.

What You Need:

  • A few old t-shirts
  • A pair of scissors

Some kids may need help from an adult with cutting.

Make Your Toy:

  1. Cut t-shirts into thin strips
  2. Make a pile of 4 to 6 strips
  3. Tie a knot in the center and pull tight.
  4. Trim the ends so they are even.
  5. Repeat these steps until you've used up all your strips!

Here are some ways you can make your toy even more exciting:

  • Tie a string to your toy to give your cat the thrill of the chase
  • Toss the toy in some loose catnip or spray with catnip spray
