EHS Announces Change in Leadership
Erie Humane Society Announces Change in Leadership
Friends of the Erie Humane Society,
On behalf of the Erie Humane Society Board of Directors, I am reaching out to you, our loyal and generous supporters, to announce a change to the organization’s leadership.
After nearly 10 years with the organization, Nicole Leone is no longer employed by the Erie Humane Society, effective November 14, 2024.
The EHS Board of Directors will be conducting a nationwide search for a new executive director starting immediately. In the interim, Marketing Manager Emily McCullor and Facilities Manager Rob Lewis will serve as co-executive directors.
Emily and Rob have 30 years of shared experience with the Erie Humane Society and are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated members of the team. We look forward to finding a permanent replacement for the executive director position as soon as possible, but the board is confident that Emily and Rob will seamlessly take over the daily operations of the organization in the interim.
During this transition, the mission of the Erie Humane Society is, as always, our top priority. Thank you for your commitment to helping the EHS rescue, rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of pets every year and change lives every day.
Sincerely,
Genna Druzak
Board President, Erie Humane Society
