Staff

Michele is a seasoned staff member of the Erie Humane Society. She has held various management roles at the shelter and recently joined our Cruelty Division as a Humane Officer. A graduate of Great Lakes Institute of Technology Veterinary Technician program, Michele strongly believes in the mission of Erie Humane Society and says knowing she can make an immediate, positive change for an animal keeps her heart and soul involved in her work, which is why she loves coming to the shelter each day.

Dr. Jennifer Weaver started her career in Pittsburgh, PA until moving to Erie with her family in 2012. She previously worked in the Harborcreek/North East area for 3 years until joining our team in September 2015. Dr. Weaver completed her undergraduate studies at Allegheny College before pursuing her veterinary studies at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her DVM degree in May 2009.
